    Introduction
    ============

    This repository contains project charter documents for various Sphen projects.
    Typically, we like to have project charters live in the same repository as the
    work being done. However, many of our Sphen projects revolve around the
    Adélie Packages Tree and the musl libc. For this reason, this repository
    contains charters and other documentation for these projects.

    Public Benefit(s) Derived
    =========================

    Each project charter defines the public benefit(s) that are expected from it.
    Broadly, Sphen projects are expected to improve security, reliability, and/or
    usability for a wide number of people. Linux and open source technologies
    power the majority of servers, IoT sensors, and governments in the world.
    The public benefits that can be gained from improving every corner of the
    ecosystem are innumerable and cannot be understated.

    Revenue Streams
    ===============

    Patreon
    -------
    We hope that by serving the Libre Software community and the general public in
    this manner, we will be able to attract patrons to our Patreon to continue our
    work in this space.

    Commercialisation
    -----------------
    None of these projects will be commercialised. However, some of them may be
    partially or wholly sponsored by individuals and/or organisations who have a
    similar desire to see the work performed.

    Intangible benefits
    -------------------
    These projects, developed in the open, showcase our technical competency in
    handling development projects. It will foster good will and good vibes towards
    us and our further projects diving deeper into the Libre Software ecosystem.
